Quelques extraits de la Passagère du silence de Fabienne Verdier..
Un enseignement de son maître, impressionnant.... pour comprendre et ressentir toute la magie du trait horizontal:
" Je voudrais que ton trait représente une formation nuageuse, avec la mouvance indistincte des nuages, ce souffle qui anime une matière vaporeuse, me disait-il. Essaie."
Après plusieurs essais, Fabienne Verdier soumet ses exercices à son maître:
"Ton trait, là, ne va pas. Pense à un cheval, à l'os de son fémur. Essaie de représenter cet os par ton trait, avec sa moelle car, même à l'intérieur d'un os, il y a du mouvement. trace ton trait en imaginant un os. "
Il compare également le trait à une branche:
"Connais-tu le principe de vie du mystère végétal ?"...."Il y a un mouvement interne et une enveloppe externe stable. J'aimerais que tu reproduises ça avec ton cœur.".....et je ne le voyais plus pendant une semaine.
Beaucoup d'émotion en lisant ces lignes, je crois que la technique est accessoire et nous encombre. La calligraphie est vraiment une question d'énergie, j'en suis persuadée. fabienne Verdier se demande aussi si elle doit "se transformer en paratonnerre pour capter les puissances telluriques...!
Lorsque je ne suis pas en forme, je calligraphie mal, lorsque je ne suis pas assez proche de la nature, aussi. Quelques fois, une bonne promenade pour se recharger, permet de mieux retrouver le pinceau. Soyez toujours là, même cinq minutes, pour calligraphier. cela vaut mieux qu'une heure d'exercices où l'on s'énerve, s'acharne comme je l'ai déjà fait...je me suis fait remonter les bretelles !
Tout est question d'équilibre.
